Titanium’s “Copy” function (CMD+C) is not working

I’ve been pissed off by this for a while now : the basic copy function in Titanium Studio (as in : I select some text and I’d like to CMD+C it !) is just not working 1 out of 3 times.

How to fix it ?

To fix this on the Studio build 2.1.2, just go to it’s preferences panel and find the keyboard shortcuts.

Tip : use the text filter at the top left of the preferences window and type "short" (for "shortcut"). You'll see the "Keys" menu showing up.

Their you’ll just have to remove the custom-made CMD+C shortcut for the “Copy” function.

Apply.

Press Ok.

Everything is working fine now !

What just happend ?

Disabling the keyboard shortcut is releasing the CMD+C action to the system. So, now, your OS is putting the text you selected in the system’s clipboard.

Since the “paste” (CMD+V) function is working well, your text will be duplicated as expected.

Note :

This might just work as well with Windows Titanium Studio.
